How about a delightful leisurely stroll with the family?
These enjoyable evening strolls operate daily and include free pick up and drop off at your hotel or accommodation. Each trip is guided and you can learn some of the history, culture and general information on the area along the route.
There are two guided evening strolls, one to the Albir Lighthouse and the other to the old town of Altea, both with stunning views.
The beautiful Mediterranean village of Altea is enchanting with its whitewashed houses, cobble streets and blue domed church. A vibrant cosmopolitan area with artists and craftsmen. At the foot of the village is the port, promenade and the old fisherman’s quarters.
The Albir lighthouse has guided seamen around the Serra Gelada since 1863. This stroll takes you to the lighthouse, through the nature reserve of the Serra Gelada and past the ancient ochre mines. A naturally occurring mineral, containing hydrated iron oxide, it has been used by many different civilizations on different continents.
Recommendations: Comfortable footwear and a least 1 litre of water per person. Adequate clothing depending on the time of year and weather. Snacks if required.
- Tickets must be purchased a minimum of 2 days in advance.
- IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you print your ticket from the screen or from the email which will be sent to your e-mail address. You need to present this to the guide.
- Minimum age, if adults are in agreement and accompanied by an adult is 8 years.
- Evening Strolls organised every evening of the week. Each Stroll is approximately 1 - 1:30 hours. Duration is 2:30 - 3 hours in total.
- Times for the evening strolls will vary depending on the time of year.
- Coffee shops/Restaurants are attended after each route.
- Once we have confirmed availability with the Company we will contact you by telephone to confirm the pick up times from your accomodation.
