Guadalest, known as the jewel of the Costa Blanca.

This beautiful village was founded by the Arabs and is strategically nestled in the mountains at an altitude of 600 metres.   Guadalest offers magnificent views of the surrounding valley and reservoir with castles that rise up between the peaks of the granite mountains.  It is a visit not to be missed!

This guided route is probably the easiest hiking route available with sensational views of the Sierra de Serella.

On arrival at Guadalest, we will have a coffee and then you have time to explore Guadalest and learn more about the village and its history.

After your visit, we will take a five minutes drive in the minibus, to commence the circular route around the reservoir.   The route is relatively flat and passes through the village of Beniarda, where we will stop for lunch.
