A Day in Calpe: From Historic Charm to Coastal Beauty
Set off on a delightful two-stop excursion to the vibrant town of Calpe, where history, colour, and coastline come together to create the perfect day out.
Your first stop is the enchanting old town, a maze of narrow streets and sun-kissed squares brimming with character. Here, brightly painted houses, striking street art, and an array of small museums and galleries offer a feast for the eyes. With cosy bars and traditional restaurants tucked around every corner, it’s an inviting place to lose yourself for a while.
Visitors have 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore this atmospheric quarter at their own pace.
The journey continues to Calpe’s lively port area, famous for its seafood restaurants and dominated by the majestic Peñón de Ifach, a limestone rock rising 332 metres above the Mediterranean. With two hours to enjoy this part of town, you can savour a leisurely lunch, admire views stretching towards Moraira from the golden sands of Playa de la Fossa, or simply unwind by the water as fishing boats glide in and out of the harbour.
Whether you prefer wandering historic streets, sampling fresh seafood, or relaxing by the sea, Calpe offers something for everyone.
This six-hour excursion runs every Monday, departing at 09:45 — the perfect start to a memorable day on the Costa Blanca.
