Altea Golf Club is different! Even though it is only a 9 hole course, the golfer can enjoy an 18 hole game. There are various teeing grounds at each hole allowing you to enjoy two completely different rounds, selecting a round of golf to suit you. The golf course had a restructuring in 2006 which made important changes to the facilities.

There are 4 holes that change par. The par 5 of the 3^rd hole has changed to a par 4 on the 2^nd round. The same occurs with the par 4 on the 4^th hole, which changes to a par 3. Then there is the par 3 on the 6^th hole which is a par 4 on the second round and a long par 4 on the 8^th hole which you can play like a par 5 recovery.

Hole 5 has been shortened to 100 metres and the fairway on hole 1 has been modified with the construction of 4 new bunkers.

There are certain conditions required to play on the course. A certified handicap or license, a maximum handicap of 36.0 and for young players to be over 21 years of age.

There is a hire service available including buggies for 28€ for an 18 hole round or 20€ for 9 hole round. If you need the service for 10 rounds the price increases up to 200€ for 18 hole rounds or 150€ for 9 hole rounds. There is also the possibility to hire a manual cart for 4€ or an electric golf cart for 8€. Irons can be hired from 15€ and there is also a restaurant and the possibility to take private lessons.

Las Rejas Golf

Las Rejas Golf Club is a pitch and Putt golf course located just a few metres away from the Poniente Beach in Benidorm. A 9 hole course with a par 3 perfect to start practising this sport and ideal for seasoned players that want to improve their short play.

It has a marvellous course, set in between Mediterranean pines, designed for an enjoyable round, with plenty of opportunities to practice your approach shots.

Green Fees are for the day so you pay once and can play as many times as you like during that day. Open every day including Saturdays and Sundays 13€. From 15:00 hours 7€.

Golf Lessions. In the Las Rejas Open club you can learn how to play golf or improve your technique with special group courses, which include five 50 minute classes. There are two types for you to choose from: classes on the practise range or on the golf course. Members have a 10% discount.

The Villaitana Golf Club is located right in the heart of the Costa Blanca, in Benidorm. This privileged tourist area on the Levante Coast is perfect for group activities whether they are business groups, real estate promotors, sports groups, young people or golf professionals. The Club has two eighteen hole golf courses: the Levante Championship Golf Course, Par 72 and the Poniente Executive Golf course, Par 62. The courses were designed by Nicklaus Design, the global golf course design firm founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, which is widely regarded as the world's leading design firm. Both impeccable courses are extremely popular with golfers.

The Levante Course is a Championship course with a Par of 72. It is an American Styled Parkland golf course, measuring more than 6.576 metres in length and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and Mountains.

The Poninete Course is an Executive course with a par of 62, measuring 3.858 metres in length. It has par 3 holes of differing lengths and par 4 holes of shorter distances, which does not necessarily mean that they are any less difficult. Set in a small valley, you will need to cross through pines and small ravines. Suitable for all golfers, independent of their handicap but it does requires a good use of short irons.

Villaitana Golf also offers a driving range, 2 putting greens, an approach area with 2 practice bunkers, golf club hire (PING & Callaway) manual and battery powered golf carts, golf buggies, and a cafeteria and restaurant. There is also a social club, changing rooms, shop, reception and a golf school with qualified professionals from the Royal Spanish Golf Federation offering individual or group classes for groups or companies and a golf clinic to assess and improve their skills.

The Grass Surface on the Teeing ground, Fairways and rough on both courses is Bermuda princess (Cynodon Dactilon), a grass which guaranteed a perfect game at all levels. The greens are covered with agrostis estonlonifera or creeping bent grass (providence variety) which offers excellent performance turf for games of the highest level and recovers quickly from damage.

The Golf Academy.

The practise green measures 300 metres long offering the perfect area to practise your drive to perfection. 4 natural grass platforms with a capacity for 40 players. There is also a short game area with 2 bunkers ideal to practise your chipping skills, approach and bunker play and 2 putting greens one exclusively for putting and the other in the short play area, so you can practise your approach and putting on the same green. There are also classes available for children and private or group classes for adults, five and over is classed as a group.

Sierra Cortina’s 18 hole Pitch & Putt is ideal for both beginners starting out in the golf world and for the seasoned player. The shortest fairway is 55m in length and the longest is 100m. Those who are just starting out can get on the course after having a few classes without having to necessarily achieve the official handicap.

On the other hand, the most experienced of golfers will be able to tackle the different hazards that are to be encountered, with two artificial lakes and magnificent greens making it a pleasure to practise their short play.

The shorter distances are more suitable for older players and children, as they’ll be able to cover the 18 holes in slightly less than two hours without exerting too much effort.
