The dates for this year’s Gastronomy Event have now been finalized. Eight different events will take place, celebrating the diverse quality cuisine on offer in Benidorm from the 21st of February to the 25th of October.
The event will be organised under the watchful eye of Jaume Pérez Sales, owner of the Aitona Restaurante, which has been open for 50 years in Benidorm.
The first event will be dedicated to hot dishes such as Casseroles, stews and dishes eaten with a spoon and the last event will be dedicated to rice dishes .
One of the new events #TurgastroUA will take place on the Mal Pas Beach on the 30th of March combining great food with our splendid coastline and sunshire. This event aims to exchange views and to discuss how new technology, communication and innovation is influencing our cuisine.
La Nostra Cuina (Our Cuisine) Event to be held on the 12th and 13th of June in the Hort de Colon has an important goal. Traditional recipes from the area will be collated and filmed for a book and video with the aim of preserving these traditions for future generations. The recipes will be prepared live rather like a televised cookery programme.
